Facilities Overview
– 11.6 acres of land (utilized area: 3-4 acres). Only 30-40% of the total land has been used for the construction of production blocks, pilot plants, R&D facilities, distillation columns, utilities and storage tank farms.
Constructed area is around 80,000 sq ft RCC type. 60% can be used for future expansion.
– It is only 60 km from Hyderabad on NH 65 and well served by excellent roads and good air connectivity.
– Capacity: 160 Kl comprising of GLR / SSR around 40 nos. reactors.
– Production block 1: This block consists of 30 reactor slots, loaded with required supporting equipment and presently put to use to manufacture APIs. It has a reaction volume of 120 KL comprising 10 GLRʼs and 20 SSRʼs / PP Vat apart from other support equipment. It has a cleanroom for API production.
– Production block 2: This block contains 32 reactor slots (Empty)
– Production block 3: There are 16 reactor slots in this block of which 14 reactors are presently installed with reaction volumes of 40 KL. This block also contains equipment for handling high-temperature reactions, hydrogenation, and high vacuum distillation. There is a cleanroom for API production as well.
– Pilot plant: There is a separate pilot plant having 10 reactors ranging from 50 Liters to 500 Liters. It is used to scale up operations from 5 kg – 100 kg levels. The Pilot plant is capable of handling multifaceted operations like.
– High temperature reactions (up to 300 degrees C)
– High pressure reactions (10 to 50 kg/cm2)
– Fractional distillation.
– Solvent recovery: The company has 2 distillation columns of 450 dia and 250 dia.
– Capable of handling 8000 liters of solvents per day.
– Empty slot available for adding 1 (one) more distillation column.
– Effluent handling system:
– Storage capacity of 150 kl of effluent.
– Solid waste storage capacity of 30MT.
